a free moment at the Impact tapings tonight in Orlando,
Captain Charisma checked in to say hello and accept congratulations
on becoming NWA World Champ.
On
what was running through his mind in the ring when he won
the title...
"Man,
like I said it was the culmination of twelve years of hard
work and blood, sweat, and tears. And it just all came together
at Against All Odds. Man, it was the best feeling in the
world--a moment I had been waiting for my whole career.
And then the fans spilled in the ring. It was crazy, man.
It was like nothing I've experienced before. It was by far
the biggest experience I've had in the business so far,
so it was awesome.
On
being lifted onto the shoulders of longtime friend Rhino...
"Yeah,
man. He was the first one there. It was great, yeah. It
was great to see him there and great to be back in TNA with
him and keep going together so it's cool.
On
upcoming title defense against Monty Brown at Destination
X...
"Monty
Brown. That's right, man. He's a tough guy, he's hungry
so it should be an interesting match. I've already had a
match with Monty, so I'm looking forward to getting in there
and mixing it up again it'll be cool.
