-TNA
has posted that a Deuces Wild tag tourney match between Team
3D and Sting-James Storm will open the Sacrifice PPV on Sunday.
Sting
and Storm were paired together last night on Impact in the
first of two "Egotistical Eight" drawings.
Matt
Morgan and Kip James were the other pair. Booker T, Robert
Roode, Awesome Kong, and BG James will be paired on Sunday--although
James has requested Kong as his partner.
Also
on Impact, Gail Kim won immunity for the Knockout Makeover
bout and cannot have her head shaved even if she loses the
match. Jay Lethal, Curry Man, Kaz, Alex Shelley, Jimmy Rave,
Chris Sabin, Johnny Devine, Shark Boy, Sonjay Dutt, and Consequences
Creed will compete in the Terror Dome to become the #1 X-Division
Contender.
-WWE
posted that Miz and Morrison will be defending the WWE Tag
Titles at Judgment Day against Kane and CM Punk.
It
was also announced that Torrie Wilson received her release,
effective yesterday. Wilson has recently posted that doctors
advised against her in-ring return due to back issues.
-Gregory
Helms posted a new blog on MySpace,
sharing his frustration with the assault he endured in a bar
a couple of nights ago. Helms rightfully pointed out that
he had much more to lose, so chose to refrain from fighting
back--and recalled a story about someone trying to fight Meng
a few years back.

on Impact, Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner team against Samoa
Joe and Kevin Nash in the main event. Thenon-title X-Division
bout where Petey Williams has his jaw broken also takes place,
with Consequences Creed, Shark Boy, Curry Man, and Johnny
Devine facing the champ.
Jim Cornette
will begin pairing the "Egotistical Eight" tag teams
and has called for a mandatory meeting of the TNA Knockouts.

Besides
stating it didn't matter if the match was in the TerrorDome
or regular six-sided ring this Sunday at Sacrifice, Steiner
plans on winning the TNA Title and may work with Kurt Angle
against Samoa Joe.
He also
shared getting into the business and training under Dick the
Bruiser, and having multiple tag partners before teaming up
with brother Rick.
Big Poppa
Pump also shoots from the hip on Ric Flair's recent Hall of
Fame induction, the story behind the nWo parody on the Four
Horsemen, and much, much more.
Steiner
also shared that Petey Williams suffered a fracture on his
jaw-line in the match which will air this week on Impact.
Despite the injury, Steiner said Lil' Petey Pump is expected
to be at Sacrifice on Sunday.

Helms was assaulted at a sports bar late Monday night. According
to WTSB
radio, an altercation occurred at 1:10am in the N&N
Sports Bar in Smithfield, NC between Helms and Dustin Narron--who
is accused of slapping Helms. Helms
obtained a warrant for assault and police arrested Narron
about an hour later, he was subsquently released on $500 bond.
-WWE
and THQ have announced they will partner to launch a new video
game, WWE Legends of WrestleMania in March of 2009 to coincide
with WrestleMania 25. This is a seperate project aside from
the Smackdown vs. Raw series the two produce.

-Scott
Steiner will be joining us live on The Stranglehold tonight
to preview Impact and his upcoming TNA Title match at Sacrifice
this Sunday. And since it's "80s Week" on KFNS,
we might have a couple of surprises as well.
-Tonight
will be the 100th episode of ECW on SciFi and among the events
will be Colin Delaney going against Armando Estrada to win
a contract.
-WWE.com
posted this morning that Chris Jericho and Shawn Michaels
will face off at Judgment Day. Last night on Raw, JBL versus
John Cena was announced.
-Ashley
Massaro has refuted charges in Rolling Stone magazine that
she worked for an agency recently busted for providing high-end
escorts. On her MySpace page, Massaro writes "Just
got buzzed on some BS that is going around. Dont believe it
for a second. Getting in touch with my lawyer as we speak.
No post song because I'm beyond upset."
Rolling
Stone maintains that the FBI is investigating Bella Models
and that Massaro was one of the models that could have a meeting
arranged for a fee.

-While
Matt Hardy and Miz-Morrison were successful with their title
defenses last night on Smackdown, the news wasn't as good
for the Undertaker.
The World
Champion was stripped of his title by GM Vickie Guerrero,
who also banned his chokehold submission. Taker responded
by locking the submission in on Great Khali, but Ryder and
Hawkins used that time to secure the belt back to Guerrero.
-Bret
Hart spent time this week with the developmental talent in
Florida Championship Wrestling. Jim Ross plans to visit the
group in the near future.

-Tonight
on Smackdown, Undertaker defends the World Title against Great
Khali while MVP gets his rematch for the US Title against
Matt Hardy.
Miz and
Morrison defend the WWE Tags against Shannon Moore and Jimmy
Wang Yang. Colin Delaney is also set to take on Vladmir Kozlov.
Mick
Foley will also be making his Friday night debut as the new
Smackdown announcer. The hardcore legend made his first appearance
on Sunday at Backlash alongside Michael Cole.
-Last
night on Impact, Jim Cornette announced the eight singles
wrestlers for the "Deuces Wild" tag tourney: Booker
T, Sting, Matt Morgan, James Storm, Robert Roode, BG James,
Kip James, and Awesome Kong.
LAX,
who invited Hector Guerrero to be the cornerman, and the team
of AJ Styles-Super Eric qualified for the tourney.
Cornette
also announced The TerrorDome--a 30ft steel structure, will
make its debut at the Sacrifice ppv on May 11th.

-Congratulations
to Ron Simmons, who was named as part of the new class to
be inducted into The National College Football Hall of Fame.
-Some
of the phone messages left on the Chris Benoit answering machine
around the time of his death have been made public. WSB-TV
in Atlanta aired messages including a call home from
Chris to check on the family, his son Daniel leaving him a
message, the WWE office calling, and the distraught father
of Nancy Benoit.
-Irv
Muchnick, who is continuing to research the Benoit tragedy
for an upcoming book, reports that a message from Eddie Guerrero
prior to the day he died, was among the messages not aired
by WSB-TV. Muchnick is still trying to uncover some of Benoit's
missing cell phone messages. More details are on his Wrestling
Babylon blog.

will also announce the Elite 8 singles wrestlers for the tourney
and have details on the new structure to debut on TNA ppv.
-Santino
Morella, real name Anthony Carelli, was arrested this morning
at 2:57am on charges of Driving Under The Influence in Hillsborough
County, FL. According the official police report, Morella
was released morning at 11:35am on a $500 surety bond.
Interesting
to note that Morella's blood alcohol level (BAC) was .061,
.062.--which is below the legal limit in Florida of .08%.

-Thanks
again to Roxxi Leveaux for joining us on The Stranglehold
last night. TNA's "Voodoo Queen" shared that the
dreads she initially had were causing her hair to fall out
and Angelina Love is her target for the head-shaving in the
Knockout Makeover bout at Sacrifice.
Roxxi
also shared about working on the indies as Nikki Roxx, training
under Killer Kowalski, and watching matches as a child at
Boston Gardens. The full audio is now posted in TRANSCRIPTS.
-Three
title matches for Smackdown were announced on ECW last night.
Matt Hardy will defend the US Title, Morrison and Miz put
the WWE Tag Titles on the line, and Undertake will also be
defending the World Title.
-Next
week on ECW, which is the 100th broadcast of the program in
the current branding, will feature Tommy Dreamer against Mike
Knox in an "Extreme Rules" match and Colin Delaney
facing Armando Estrada, with Delaney's contract being on the
line. Last night's handicap match with Kane losing to Chavo
Guerrero and Bam Neely was not a title bout.
